CLSP presents

Note, unless you are running Windows XP and have Internet Explorer Version 6 you may need a browser plug-in that can play mpg formatted movies. Also note that these files are over 1 meg and will take several minutes to load on a dial-up connection. Make sure your sound is on.

An alternative method is to right-click on the link, select "Save Target As", make sure the file extension is "mpg", and press Save. To view movie use Windows Explorer to navigate to file and double-click on the file. The correct name is hatchling1.mpg

Hatchling crawling to beach (1.3MB)  |  5 days after a turtle nest hatches the nest is excavated to see how many eggs hatched and how many didn't. Often there will be one or more live hatchlings that got caught in the nest. This movie is of one of these trapped hatchlings. When released the hatchling made a beeline for the surf.
